April 2027
Actions
Primary objective: Determine whether the educational intervention changed knowledge and attitudes. Measure learning and begin direct conservation service.
Post-program Survey
Administer the same core questions used in January 2027. Add one open-response question:
-
What is one fact or action I will remember from my program?
Calculate:
-
Average knowledge score before the lesson
-
Average knowledge score after the lesson
-
Percentage-point improvement for each question
-
Change in students’ willingness to take action
-
The most common remaining misconception
Use simple bar graphs. I should preserve anonymous raw data and show her calculation method.
Conservation Action
Ask the partner organization to select an age-appropriate activity. Possibilities include:
-
A professionally supervised litter audit near a waterway
-
Creation of accurate educational signs for an approved location
-
A school campaign against purchasing wildlife
-
Translation of expert-approved conservation material
-
A family workshop about freshwater biodiversity
-
A used-book or art sale supporting a verified conservation program
-
A native streamside planting activity led by professionals
-
An amphibian-awareness exhibit
This activity should address a need identified by the partner. Any fundraising should include transparent records showing the amount raised, recipient, use of funds, and receipt.
