Primary objective: Measure knowledge and habitat observations before commencing my educational intervention.

• Conduct a Student survey

• Invite an appropriate group of students to participate.

• Use the same written instructions for every participant.

• Avoid teaching them about the salamander before the baseline survey.

• Calculate the percentage of correct responses for each knowledge question.

• Record how many students express willingness to take conservation action.

A reasonable Grade 4 target could be 30 to 60 participants, depending on school approval.
