• Produce a core educational presentation: Develop a 10 to 12-minute bilingual presentation with the following sections:

1. What is a Chinese giant salamander?

2. Why are China’s giant salamanders scientifically unusual?

3. What kind of stream habitat do they need?

4. Why have their wild populations declined?

5. Why can unplanned releases cause harm?

6. How can children protect freshwater habitats responsibly?

  • An illustrated fold-out species guide

  • A large habitat poster

  • A “myth versus evidence” activity

  • A stream food-web game

  •  pledge card with safe conservation actions

  • A short bilingual video

  • A teacher-reviewed vocabulary sheet

• Ask the scientific teacher to review these materials and ask four focused questions:

  • Is the scientific content accurate?

  • Does any wording oversimplify the species problem?

  • Could any recommended action cause harm?

  • What correction would most improve the lesson?
